Marketing Email
Build an audience, segment it, and send broadcast campaigns. Included on every plan, alongside your transactional email.
Marketing vs. Transactional
Marketing email covers Broadcasts and Audience management: the contacts, lists, tags, and segments you build inside the PostaSend dashboard. It runs on the same plan and infrastructure as your transactional sending, with no separate subscription. Your contact limit, list limit, and monthly AI content generations all scale together as you upgrade.
Building Your Audience
Add contacts one at a time, or import a CSV in bulk. Each contact can have a first name, last name, and custom attributes (text, number, date, or boolean) that you define under Audience → Attributes. These attributes double as merge tags you can use in any broadcast. Use Lists for broad groupings, like "Newsletter" or "Beta users", and Tags for finer labels, like "customer" or "trial". A contact can belong to any number of lists and tags at once.
Targeting with Segments
A segment defines who receives a broadcast. Combine one or more lists, one or more tags (matching any or all of them), and attribute filters (equals, contains, exists, greater than, less than) to target exactly the right audience. PostaSend shows you the resolved recipient count before you send.

"tagIds": ["tag_customer"],

}Sending a Broadcast
Write a subject, HTML body, and plain-text fallback, choose a sender and a segment, then send immediately or schedule it for later. Delivery uses the same provider infrastructure as your transactional email, including failover, retries, and delivery tracking, on a separate message stream so a marketing send is never confused with a transactional one.
Unsubscribes & Compliance
Every broadcast includes a one-click List-Unsubscribe header (RFC 8058), so mailbox providers can offer a native unsubscribe button. It also includes a visible unsubscribe link in the body, either placed by you with {{unsubscribe_url}} or added automatically as a footer. Both paths lead to a branded confirmation page. Unsubscribing is global: once a contact opts out, they're excluded from every future broadcast, not just the one they unsubscribed from.
